Hospital Quality Improvement Program

FrontPath’s focus on healthcare purchasing in the Western Lake Erie region is based on a clear set of principles that includes:
  • The ability to obtain the highest quality care at the most reasonable cost.
  • Initiatives that measure the comparative quality and efficiency of hospitals and physicians in the community to identify the best value and facilitate performance improvement.

Through collaborative relationships with local hospitals, FrontPath strives to improve the quality of healthcare and patient outcomes for the entire community.

To that end FrontPath has developed a normative database that allows local hospitals and physicians to compare their performance to their local peers on cost and quality measurements. In the development of this database, FrontPath has evaluated more than 1.2 million discharges.
